Current Support

Yale University — donates our space and utilities.

Yale Alumni Class of 1955 — donates $10,000 per year to Dwight Hall at Yale. These funds are designated to be used to pay Yale work-study students and other Book Bank employees.

United Way of Greater New Haven (2007–08) – $15,000 Success by Six grant to support tutoring for twelve struggling kindergartners.

United Illuminating – $10,000 in unrestricted funds, January 2008.

Mayor’s Youth Grant (2007–08) — $5,500 to support SAT preparation class, math tables and homework help.

Empower New Haven Mini Grant (2007) — $4,000 to support two writing groups.

Connecticut Humanities Council Grant — $2,000 to support a Motheread/Fatheread 10 week class for parents and caregivers.

New Alliance Foundation (2008) — $2,500 to purchase a subscription to Symphony Math, an online program that reinforces basic math concepts.

Memorial gifts in the name of Kathy Perrone.
